AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE OPERATION OF A MOBILE DENTAL CLINIC FOR LOW-INCOME CHILDREN IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thirty thousand dollars ($330,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for the operation of a mobile dental clinic that will provide dental care to uninsured and underinsured low-income children in Dona Ana county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
