AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR THE CENTER FOR REGIONAL STUDIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million eight hundred ninety thousand seven hundred dollars ($1,890,700) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for the center for regional studies. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
