AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY FOR ITS MUSEUM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred forty-five thousand six hundred dollars ($345,600) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of western New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for staffing and equipment at the western New Mexico university museum to enhance the museum's educational exhibits. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
