AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A NATIVE AMERICAN YOUTH CULINARY ARTS PROGRAM AT THE GRANTS CAMPUS OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to develop a culinary arts program on the university's Grants campus for Native American students attending local secondary schools. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
