AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE SOUTHWEST CENTER FOR HEALTH, FOOD SAFETY AND BIOSECURITY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred forty thousand dollars ($640,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to support the southwest center for health, food safety and biosecurity. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
