    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 33

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 8, line 21, after "shall", strike the remainder of the line, strike line 22 and strike line 23 up to the period and insert in lieu thereof:

"appoint a task force to develop the advisement plan that begins in grade six. The task force shall be composed of representatives from groups with expertise on advising and supporting students and their families on college and workplace awareness and readiness, representatives from post-secondary educational institutions, public schools, labor and work force development agencies and the business community. The plan shall provide logical and sequential information on preparing for college, including how to pay for college".

    2. On page 9, line 10, after the period, strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 11 and 12 and strike line 13 up to the quotation mark.,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
