AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ELEVENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT TO FUND A PRETRIAL SERVICES PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred seven thousand nine hundred dollars ($207,900) is appropriated from the general fund to the eleventh judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to provide for three full-time employees and operating expenses for a pretrial services program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
