AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR HISPANIC YOUTH LEADERSHIP TRAINING.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for a summer Hispanic youth leadership training program to be conducted by a university-student-led organization. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
