AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A BEST-PRACTICE CHARACTER-BUILDING DANCE PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to support a best-practice character-building youth dance program at schools in Dulce, Ojo Encino and Cuba. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
