AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to support a position of agricultural education program coordinator in the cooperative extension service. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
