Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 325 changes the length of term from four years to two years for members of the
Governor’s Council on Film and Media Industries.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
None identified.
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES
By changing the term length this bill should allow more New Mexicans to serve on the board.
The governor may appoint up to 30 members, and the council has an executive board of five
members.
