AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTINUE ENROLLMENT OF CHILDREN IN MEDICAID.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten million dollars ($10,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to continue enrollment of all eligible children in medicaid and to support the goal of all children in the state having insurance coverage. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
