AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF ADMISSIONS FOR THE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($775,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to increase the number of admissions for the bachelor of science in nursing program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
