AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO CONTRACT WITH THE MIDDLE RIO GRANDE COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE TELESFOR ARMIJO ACEQUIA.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to contract with the middle Rio Grande council of governments for services to improve the Telesfor Armijo acequia in the Atrisco area of the south valley in Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
