    Your BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 405

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 7, line 4, strike "ten" and insert in lieu thereof "three".

     2. On page 7, line 5, after "years", insert "from the date that the qualified energy generator begins producing electricity. For biomass, the qualified energy generator shall have the biomass under lease or contract or otherwise own or control the biomass. For solar light, solar heat or wind, the qualified energy generator shall have the land that provides access to the energy source under contract".

     3. On page 16, line 19, strike "ten" and insert in lieu thereof "three".

     4. On page 16, line 20, after "years", insert "from the date that the qualified energy generator begins producing electricity. For biomass, the qualified energy generator shall have the biomass under lease or contract or otherwise own or control the biomass. For solar light, solar heat or wind, the qualified energy generator shall have the land that provides access to the energy source under contract".,

and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE.
