    Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 622, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 3, lines 14 through 16, strike each

occurrence of "free".

     2. On page 4, line 11, after "plan", insert ", in coordination with the existing apprenticeship programs of the department and the public education department,".

     3. On page 4, line 14, after the period, insert "The plan is intended to complement existing apprenticeship programs and not replace apprenticeship programs currently funded with state money.".

     4. On page 7, lines 22 and 23, strike "twenty million dollars ($20,000,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "ten million dollars ($10,000,000)".
