AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTORS, TRANSPORTATION AND EQUIPMENT FOR A SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS SUMMER PROGRAM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighty-five thousand dollars ($85,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to provide instructors, transportation and equipment for a science, technology, engineering and mathematics summer program for middle school students in the Artesia, Carlsbad, Dexter, Hagerman, Lake Arthur and Loving school districts. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
