AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND HOUSING AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR TEENAGE MOTHERS AND THEIR CHILDREN IN ALBUQUERQUE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to contract with a nonprofit organization that provides housing and support services for teenage mothers and their children in Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
