    Your CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 776

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 21, strike "residential" and after "consumer", insert "for or on the consumer's residential property".

     2. On page 1, between lines 22 and 23, insert the following new subsection:

          "B. Nothing in this section shall be construed to prohibit payment in advance of services to be rendered.".

     3. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.,

and thence referred to the BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE.
