AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR HUMAN SERVICES PROGRAMS AT THE PUEBLO OF TESUQUE.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to fund expansion of health and social service programs, including substance abuse programs, Native American youth-led peer-to-peer suicide prevention counseling, domestic violence and child abuse and neglect prevention and intervention services, including mental health services, at the Pueblo of Tesuque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
