AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE NATIONAL HISPANIC CULTURAL CENTER EDUCATION COORDINATOR.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred seventy-nine thousand dollars ($379,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to provide funding for the education coordinator at the national Hispanic cultural center in Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
