AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR SOLAR ENERGY PRODUCTION AT THE TO'HAJIILEE CHAPTER OF THE NAVAJO NATION.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 for a feasibility study for solar energy production at the To'hajiilee chapter of the Navajo Nation in Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
