RELATING TO CULTURAL AFFAIRS; CREATING INDIAN ARTS AND CULTURE WEEK.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. INDIAN ARTS AND CULTURE WEEK.--In recognition of the contributions of Native Americans to the culture of New Mexico and of the importance of Native American heritage to the cultural vitality of New Mexico, the third full week of August each year is designated as "Indian Arts and Culture Week".
