AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A ROCK AND RHYTHM BAND AT JEFFERSON MIDDLE SCHOOL.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eight thousand dollars ($8,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2011 to cover the costs associated with the purchase of instruments for a rock and rhythm band at Jefferson middle school in the Albuquerque public schools. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2011 shall revert to the general fund.
