Mr. President:
Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
SENATE BILL 240
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 1, line 11, before "MAKING", insert "PROVIDING FOR REPORTING TO THE LEGISLATIVE FINANCE COMMITTEE;".
2. On page 1, line 15, after "FUND", insert "--REPORTING".
3. On page 1, line 21, after the period, strike the remainder of the line, strike line 22 in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof "Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of any fiscal year shall revert to the general fund.".
4. On page 2, between lines 6 and 7, insert the following new subsection:
"D. The department of health shall report annually to the legislative finance committee on medical cannabis fund income and expenditures.".
