    Your ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 242

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On pages 1 and 2, strike Section 1 in its entirety.

    2. Renumber succeeding sections accordingly.

    3. On page 5, line 4, after "is", insert "designed and".

     4. On page 5, line 6, after "corporation,", insert "the incumbent utility in New Mexico and, if applicable,".

     5. On page 5, line 7, after "council", strike the remainder of the line and insert in lieu thereof a semicolon.

     6. On page 9, lines 12 through 14, strike the underscored language.

     7. On page 9, line 12, strike the comma.

     8. On page 9, line 14, strike the first comma.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
