AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE OFFICE OF MILITARY BASE PLANNING AND SUPPORT TO PRODUCE A NEW MEXICO MILITARY BASES VALUE CASE STATEMENT AND REFERENCE MATERIAL.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of military base planning and support of the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to study, develop, design and produce a New Mexico military bases value case statement and reference material in anticipation of the federal base realignment and closure process. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
