AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A PROGRAM TO REDUCE SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND OVERDOSE DEATHS IN RIO ARRIBA COUNTY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 for the Rio Arriba county department of health and human services to implement a program aimed at reducing substance abuse and overdose deaths in Rio Arriba county through education and case management services for individuals in or recently released from the Rio Arriba county detention center or from residential substance abuse treatment centers. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
