    Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 311

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, line 16, after "council", insert ", so as to give the two political parties having the most members in each house the same total proportionate representation on the work group as prevails in that house".

     2. On page 2, line 20, after "director", insert ", or the director's designee,".

     3. On page 2, line 22, after "director", insert ", or the director's designee,".

     4. On page 3, lines 3 and 4, strike "At the time of making its appointments, the New Mexico legislative council" and insert in lieu thereof "The work group".

     5. On page 4, line 2, strike "the general fund" and insert in lieu thereof "legislative cash balances".

     6. On page 4, line 12, strike "the general fund" and insert in lieu thereof "legislative cash balances".
