HOUSE BILL 42

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, line 24, strike "or an e-cigarette".

     2. On page 2, line 25, strike the closing quotation mark.

     3. On page 2, after line 25, insert the following new subsection:

          "D. The online internet sales of tobacco products and e-cigarettes to a minor in New Mexico is prohibited."".

     4. On page 4, line 17, strike "of tobacco products".

     5. On page 4, strike lines 18 and 19 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof a closing quotation mark.

     6. On page 5, lines 4 and 5, remove the brackets and line-through.

     7. On page 5, line 4, strike "a" and insert in lieu thereof "an adult", and before "acquaintance", insert "adult".

     8. On page 5, line 5, strike "in connection", strike lines 6 and 7 in their entirety and strike line 8 up to the period.
