    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 534

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 3, line 10, after "section", insert "or for not providing such information due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control".

    2. On page 3, between lines 18 and 19, insert the following new subsection:

         "G. A wireless telecommunications provider may establish protocols by which the wireless telecommunications provider voluntarily discloses telecommunications device call location information to a law enforcement agency for the purposes outlined in Subsection A of this section.".

    3. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

    4. On page 5, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following new subsection:

         "K. This act may be cited as the "Kelsey Smith Act".".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
