HOUSE BILL 92

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 13, before the period, insert "AND RESERVE POLICE OFFICERS' SURVIVORS".

     2. On page 1, line 19, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof a comma.

     3. On page 1, line 20, after "Members'", insert "and Reserve Police Officers'".

     4. On page 1, line 24, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof a comma, and after "Members'", insert "and Reserve Police Officers'".

     5. On page 2, line 1, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof a comma, and on line 2, after "members'", insert "and reserve police officers'".

     6. On page 2, line 13, strike "and".

     7. On page 2, between lines 13 and 14, insert the following new subsection:

          "D. "reserve police officer" means a volunteer or a temporary or part-time employee of a state or local law enforcement agency who is accepted by that agency as a reserve law enforcement officer after receiving a background check and training as needed by that agency and who is not a member of the New Mexico mounted patrol; and".

     8. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.

     9. On page 2, line 18, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof a comma, and on line 19, after "members'", insert "and reserve police officers'".

     10. On page 3, line 1, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof a comma, and on line 2, after "Members'", insert "and Reserve Police Officers'".

     11. On page 3, line 10, strike "AND" and insert in lieu thereof a comma, and on line 11, after "MEMBERS'", insert "AND RESERVE POLICE OFFICERS'".

     12. On page 3, line 13, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof a comma, and on line 14, after "members'", insert "and reserve police officers'".

     13. On page 3, line 19, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof a comma, and on line 20, after "members'", insert "and reserve police officers'".

     14. On page 3, line 21, strike "or" and insert in lieu thereof a comma, and on line 22, after "member", insert "or reserve police officer".
