    Your REGULATORY AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 211

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 18, strike "A" and insert in lieu thereof the following:

          "A. Except as otherwise provided in this section, a".

     2. On page 1, line 21, strike the subsection designation "A." and insert in lieu thereof the paragraph designation "(1)".

     3. On page 1, line 22, strike the paragraph designation "(1)" and insert in lieu thereof the subparagraph designation "(a)".

     4. On page 2, line 1, strike the paragraph designation "(2)" and insert in lieu thereof the subparagraph designation "(b)".

     5. On page 2, line 3, strike the subsection designation "B." and insert in lieu thereof the paragraph designation "(2)".

     6. On page 2, line 5, strike the paragraph designation "(1)" and insert in lieu thereof the subparagraph designation "(a)".

     7. On page 2, line 7, strike the paragraph designation "(2)" and insert in lieu thereof the subparagraph designation "(b)".

     8. On page 2, line 8, strike the subparagraph designation "(a)" and insert in lieu thereof the item designation "1)".

     9. On page 2, line 9, strike the subparagraph designation "(b)" and insert in lieu thereof the item designation "2)".

     10. On page 2, line 10, strike the subparagraph designation "(c)" and insert in lieu thereof the item designation "3)".

     11. On page 2, between lines 11 and 12, insert the following new subsection:

          "B. The provisions of this section do not prohibit a political subdivision of the state, including a home rule municipality, or institution of the state from adopting or continuing in effect a law, policy or resolution that prohibits employment discrimination."., 

and thence referred to the BUSINESS AND EMPLOYMENT COMMITTEE.
