AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE LAS CRUCES PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT TO SUPPORT THE ENLACE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred ten thousand dollars ($110,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2017 for the Las Cruces public school district to support the partnership program, "engaging Latino communities for education", also known as "ENLACE New Mexico". Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2017 shall revert to the general fund.
