HOUSE BILL 1, as amended
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. Strike all items of House Floor Amendment number 1.
2. On page 1, line 11, strike "RELATING" and insert in lieu thereof "MAKING APPROPRIATIONS".
3. On page 1, line 11, strike "BRANCH" and insert in lieu thereof "AND JUDICIAL BRANCHES".
4. On page 1, line 13, after "EXPENSES", strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 14 through 16 in their entirety and strike line 17 through "OFFICE".
5. On page 1, line 25 and page 2, line 1, strike "eight million nine hundred forty-two thousand eight hundred dollars ($8,942,800)" and insert in lieu thereof "eight million six hundred twenty-eight thousand eight hundred dollars ($8,628,800)".
6. On page 2, line 16, strike "$2,812,116" and insert in lieu thereof "$2,699,632".
7. On page 2, line 18, strike "$2,645,055" and insert in lieu thereof "$2,539,253".
8. On page 2, lines 20 and 21, strike "six hundred sixty-seven thousand six hundred dollars ($667,600)" and insert in lieu thereof "six hundred twenty-four thousand eighty-four dollars ($624,084)".
9. On page 2, lines 24 and 25, strike "six hundred six thousand three hundred dollars ($606,300)" and insert in lieu thereof "five hundred fifty-four thousand one hundred two dollars ($554,102)".
10. On page 5, line 20 through page 8, line 10, strike Sections 3 through 8 in their entirety.
11. On page 9, lines 3 through 10, strike Sections 11 and 12 in their entirety.
12. On page 9, between lines 10 and 11, insert the following new section:
"SECTION 5. SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE COURTS.--Eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the courts for expenditure in fiscal year 2017 for the jury and witness fee fund and operational needs. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2017 shall revert to the general fund.".
13. Renumber sections to correspond with these amendments.
