Mr. Speaker:

    Your BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 123

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 12, strike "A" and insert in lieu thereof "THE". 

     2. On page 1, line 13, after "PROGRAM", insert "AND THE ANIMAL SHELTERING ACT".

     3. On page 2, line 19, strike "program" and insert in lieu thereof "Animal Sheltering Act not to exceed 7.5% of the total fees collected under the provisions of Section 3 of this 2017 Act.”

     4. On page 6, between lines 24 and 25, insert a new section to read:

     "SECTION 4. DELAYED REPEAL.--Section 3 of this act is repealed effective July 1, 2027."

     5. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.,

and thence referred to the STATE GOVERNMENT, INDIAN & VETERANS’ AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
