    Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 259

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, lines 18 and 19, strike "MAKING AN APPROPRIATION;".

     2. On page 10, line 22, strike "operating" and insert in lieu thereof "purchasing emergency communications equipment for".

     3. On page 10, line 25, after "point", insert "if the useful life of the equipment exceeds the term in which the bonds mature".

     4. On page 10, line 25, after the period, strike the remainder of the line and on page 11, strike line 1 in its entirety and strike line 2 through the period.
