    Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE

FOR SENATE BILL 354, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 4, line 11, strike the colon, strike lines 12 through 16 in their entirety and strike line 17 up to the semicolon and insert in lieu thereof:

"the pricing that the state's medical assistance plans achieve for pharmaceuticals and pharmacy benefits; provided that the human services department shall seek federal authorization prior to making any changes to medical assistance pharmaceuticals purchasing or pharmacy benefits".
