HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR
HOUSE BILL 197
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 1, lines 21 through 25, and page 2, lines 1 through 8, strike Section 2 in its entirety.
2. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.
3. On page 5, lines 23 and 24, strike "Regional Air Center Special Economic District Act" and insert in lieu thereof "district it governs".
4. On page 8, lines 24 and 25, strike "Regional Air Center Special Economic District Act" and insert in lieu thereof "district it governs".
5. On page 9, lines 12 through 15, strike Subsection C in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following new subsection:
"C. The bonds authorized by the Regional Air Center Special Economic District Act, the income from those bonds, mortgages or other security instruments executed as security for those bonds, lease agreements authorized by the Regional Air Center Special Economic District Act and revenue derived from a lease or sale by an authority are exempt from taxation by the state and its subdivisions.".
