Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
SENATE BILL 1
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 38, between lines 13 and 14, insert the following new sections:
"SECTION 3. A new section of the Nursing Practice Act is enacted to read:
"[NEW MATERIAL] ADOPTED RULES OF INTERSTATE COMMISSION OF NURSE LICENSURE COMPACT ADMINISTRATORS.--No rule adopted by the interstate commission of nurse licensure compact administrators that affects the practice of nursing in this state shall be effective in New Mexico unless adopted as an administrative rule by the board pursuant to the State Rules Act."
SECTION 4. A new section of the Nursing Practice Act is enacted to read:
"[NEW MATERIAL] RECORDS OF THE INTERSTATE COMMISSION OF NURSE LICENSURE COMPACT ADMINISTRATORS.--All agendas, minutes, reports and rulemaking records of the interstate commission of nurse licensure compact administrators shall be filed by the state compact administrator with the board, subject to the Inspection of Public Records Act."".
2. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.
