AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO FUND PARTICIPATION BY RECIPIENTS OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES MEDICAID HOME- AND COMMUNITY-BASED WAIVER SUPPORTS AND SERVICES IN SPECIAL OLYMPICS PREPARATIONS AND ACTIVITIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred ten thousand dollars ($310,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2019 to fund participation by recipients of developmental disabilities medicaid home- and community-based waiver supports and services in special olympics preparations and activities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2019 shall revert to the general fund.
