    Your APPROPRIATIONS & FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 4

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 19,strikethe second semicolon and

strike line 20 up to the period.

    2. On page 19, line 8, after the period, insert:

    “The notification, complaint, specific allegations to be investigated and any response to the complaint shall be made public.”.

    3. On page 19, line 11, after “respondent”, insert “and releasing to the public the complaint and related information required by Subsection G of this section”.

    4. On page 46, strike lines 20 through 25 in their entirety. 

    5.  Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.

    6.  On page 47, line 3, strike “and 36".
