    Your HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 18

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 21, strike the semicolon, strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 22 and 23 in their entirety and strike line 24 up to the period.

     2. On page 2, between lines 11 and 12, insert the following:

     "C. If a taxpayer's adjusted gross income is less than zero, the taxpayer may claim a tax credit in the amount shown in the first row of the table provided in Subsection B of this section.".

     3. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.,

and thence referred to the TAXATION & REVENUE COMMITTEE.
