    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 130

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 14, strike "CREATE POLICIES" and insert in lieu thereof "FOLLOW THE PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT-ADOPTED RULE".

    2. On page 4, line 8, after the period, strike the remainder of the line, strike line 9 in its entirety and on line 10, strike "policies" and insert in lieu thereof "The department shall promulgate and adopt a rule".

    3. On page 4, line 11, after "completed", insert ", and school districts shall follow the department rule".,

and thence referred to the PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
