HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to HOUSE BILL 74, as amended

    1. On page 3, line 19, after the period, insert "If an inmate is required to register as a sex offender pursuant to the provisions of the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act, the secretary of state shall not update the inmate's registration in the statewide voter registration electronic management system until the inmate has registered as a sex offender.".

    2. On page 3, line 25, after "section", insert "unless the person has not yet registered as a sex offender pursuant to the provisions of the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act".
