    Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 41, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, lines 17 and 18, strike "A CONTINGENT EFFECTIVE DATE" and insert in lieu thereof "FOR THE EXCLUSION OF ENROLLMENT GROWTH PROGRAM UNITS IN THE CALCULATION OF SAVE HARMLESS PROGRAM UNITS".

    2. On page 11, line 3, strike "fortieth day" and insert in lieu thereof "first reporting date".

    3. On page 11, line 3, after "greater", insert "; provided that the calculation of program units using the MEM on the first reporting date of the current school year shall exclude enrollment growth program units".
