    Your TAX, BUSINESS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 129

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 19, strike "PROVIDING CONDITIONS" and insert in lieu thereof "EXTENDING THE TIME LINE".

    2. On page 1, line 20, strike "WORK AND SAVE ACT" and insert in lieu thereof "RETIREMENT PLAN MARKETPLACE".

    3. On page 6, line 4, strike "when practicable,".

    4. On page 12, line 13, strike ", when practicable,".

    5. On page 12, line 15, strike "When implemented, the" and insert in lieu thereof "The".

    6. On page 13, line 19, remove the brackets and the line through "shall" and strike the underscored language.             

    7. On page 23, line 15, delete ", when implemented,".

    8. On pages 24 and 25, strike Section 12 in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following new section:

    "SECTION 12. TEMPORARY PROVISION--NEW MEXICO WORK AND SAVE ACT--IMPLEMENTATION DATES.--The New Mexico work and save board shall implement the New Mexico retirement plan marketplace and the New Mexico work and save IRA program on or before July 1, 2024.".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
