    Your HEALTH AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 142

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, lines 7 and 8, strike "or shooting threat".

    2. On page 2, line 9, after "D.", insert "Whoever commits making a shooting threat is guilty of a misdemeanor.

         E. A court may order a person convicted for the offense of making a shooting threat pursuant to the provisions of Subsection A of Section 31-19-1 NMSA 1978 and to reimburse the victim of the offense for economic harm caused by the offense.

         F."

    3. Reletter succeeding subsections accordingly.

    4. On page 2, line 10, strike "or shooting threat".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
