SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1___ to SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 2

Amendment sponsored by Senator Katy M. Duhigg

    1. On page 8, line 8, after the period, insert "The supreme court shall promulgate rules to implement the provisions of this section.".

    2. On page 9, lines 17 and 18, strike "the public defender department" and insert in lieu thereof "defense counsel of record in the case resulting in the conviction".

    3. On page 10, line 3, strike "the public defender department" and insert in lieu thereof "defense counsel of record in the case resulting in the conviction".

    4. On page 10, strike Subsection H in its entirety.

    5. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.
