0012|     MAKING APPROPRIATIONS AND AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES FOR THE STATE

0013|     FAIR COMMISSION.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|       Section 1.  SHORT TITLE.--This act may be cited as the
    |
0017|     "State Fair Commission Appropriations Act".
    |
0018|       Section 2.  DEFINITIONS.--As used in the State Fair
    |
0019|     Commission Appropriations Act:
    |
0020|            A.  "federal funds" means payments by the United
    |
0021|     States government or state agencies for specific purposes or in
    |
0022|     lieu of taxes, including grants, reimbursements and payments
    |
0023|     made in accordance with contracts or cooperative agreements and
    |
0024|     shared revenue except those payments made in accordance with the
    |
0025|     federal Mineral Lands Leasing Act of 1920 and the State and
    |
0001|     Local Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972; and
    |
0002|            B.  "other state funds" means:
    |
0003|                 (1)  unencumbered balances in state agency
    |
0004|     accounts appropriated by the General Appropriation Act of 1995;
    |
0005|     and
    |
0006|                 (2)  all revenue available to state agencies
    |
0007|     from sources other than the general fund and federal funds.
    |
0008|       Section 3.  FORMAT.--The general format of the
    |
0009|     appropriations set forth in the State Fair Commission
    |
0010|     Appropriations Act with respect to symbols used, column headings
    |
0011|     and stating of amounts is that used in the General Appropriation
    |
0012|     Act of 1995.

0013|       Section 4.  FISCAL YEAR 1997 APPROPRIATIONS.--
